Such an amazing experience for my family. The staff were so helpful and welcoming for my kids and us as new riders. Everyone enjoyed the peaceful ride along the river and the trail through the woods. Can’t wait to book again in the spring.
I went there, not having rode a horse since I was young, and was ecstatic about my experience here.
Firstly, I am disabled and very short. I am used to places often talking down to me as if I’m a child, even when I clarify I’m not. That did not happen here! They were very respectful about asking and overall just extremely kind and friendly.
The horses were also so fun and well behaved to be around. It was interesting to learn about each of the horses and their personalities during the trail.
The scenery was beautiful and we were told there was a couple of trail options based on the weather, so I definitely want to find my way back for another ride soon!
I loved the whole time i was there, every horse is very well trained and know exactly where to go. Went with my mom and we had a blast, this was my first time riding a horse and i’d say it was a great first ride experience. Every guide there was so welcoming and sweet as well definitely the best experience. Shoutout to rocky (the horse i was assigned to) he was so good the whole ride, i only got to take a couple photos of rocky as we were on the trail since i was enjoying every minute of the trail ride. Definitely coming back soon, and the whole experience is definitely worth the money. Also shoutout to the teen girl guide who was in front of me during the trail ride, i don’t know her name as i didnt get the chance to ask her but yeah definitely a big shoutout to her because she asked me if i was doing okay and stopped for me and rocky to catch up to her during the ride and kept rocky in check here and there.
Overall a nice experience! The horses are well trained and felt very safe for inexperienced riders. We wished that they had talked to us more on the trail about the horses, the trail, etc. Our group got split up which I can understand but it felt like since they were leading the horses they could have kept us together to get started. Like I said, overall well done but I wish there had been a little more communication.
We had a great first time riding trails! Great for beginners and wanting to go on a nice slow trail ride. The people are super friendly and down to earth. I know you can bring your own horse to ride and do trails on your own too. Cool place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honey Lee Ranch. My oldest daughter had never ridden a horse and was unsure about riding, but she had no trouble and wanted to ride again.
We took the horses on a trail ride through the woods. The land has a stream of water running behind it that is stunning.
Went riding with my family this morning. Wonderful experience with wranglers and horses. These horses are extremely well behaved! We appreciate how kind and friendly the staff were. The horses are also very well taken care which we appreciated. Thanks again, can’t wait to return when it cools down a little!
Went on a trail ride there today and had such a blast. Horses are my favorite passionate to ride on. Will definitely go back.
